Privacy policy

This page explains what information Marrow & Field collects when you use this site, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 5 September 2026.

Who we are

Marrow & Field is an online shop operating at marrowandfields.com. For any privacy question or request, email hello@marrowandfields.com.

Information we collect

Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address and any name, shipping addresses and wishlist or review content you choose to add.

Order information. When you place an order we store the items, prices, order status, and the shipping address needed to deliver it. Card details are entered on our payment provider's checkout and are never stored on our systems.

Email sign-ups. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store the email address you give us until you unsubscribe.

Usage information. We record which pages are viewed, which links are clicked and basic device and browser information so we can see what is useful and what is broken.

Why we use it

To take and fulfil orders, provide customer support, keep your account and order history available to you, send the emails you have asked for, prevent fraud and abuse, meet our legal and tax obligations, and improve the site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's independent marketing.

Who processes data on our behalf

We use a small number of service providers who process data only to deliver their service to us: our hosting and database provider (which stores accounts, orders and content), our payment provider (which handles card payments and stores payment details), our fulfilment and shipping partners (which receive the name, address and contact details needed to deliver your parcel), our product analytics provider (which records page views and clicks), and our email provider (which sends order and newsletter emails).

Cookies and similar technology

We use cookies and local browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart, complete checkout securely, and measure site usage. Blocking cookies in your browser will stop sign-in and checkout from working, but the rest of the site remains browsable.

Where advertising or social measurement tags are active, they are used to measure the performance of our own posts and campaigns.

How long we keep it

Account, wishlist and review content is kept for as long as your account exists. Order records are kept for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Usage analytics are retained in aggregate.

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your profile, addresses, wishlist and order history at any time in your account. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data. Email us and we will action the request; we may need to keep order records where the law requires it.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes affecting how we use your information will be notified by email to account holders.
