Dog camping gear that earns its pack space
Camping with a dog is mostly brilliant and occasionally chaos — usually at the same time. The difference between the two is rarely the big-ticket kit: it's a collapsible bowl that's actually in the bag, a lead long enough to let them settle at the tent door, and somewhere warm for them to sleep that isn't your sleeping bag. Everything below comes from our curated outdoor range and solves a real trail-side problem.
We've sorted the picks by budget, so you can build a full kit or patch the gaps before the next trip — from under-$25 smalls to the comfort gear that keeps a tired dog happy at camp.
Free shipping over $75, 30-day returns on unused goods, and delivery in 5–9 business days.

Dog camping gear under $25
The small stuff that makes camp easier: collapsible bowls, waste bags, tick tools and reflective extras.
Dog camping gear under $50
Everyday trail kit — travel bowls, leads, packable beds and paw care that earn their spot in the bag.
Dog camping gear under $100
Bigger comforts: insulated beds, carriers and safety gear for dogs who camp as hard as you do.
The dog camping checklist, short version
Water before everything. Dogs drink more on the trail than at home, and streams aren't always where the map says. Collapsible bowls weigh nothing — pack two, one for the trail and one that lives at camp.
Sleep is warmth. Cold ground drains a dog's heat fast. A packable bed or insulated mat keeps them comfortable and, just as importantly, keeps them off your sleeping pad.
Visibility and control. A reflective collar or lead and a reliable tie-out mean you can relax at camp instead of scanning the tree line. Add a basic pet first-aid kit for ticks, cuts and sore paws.
Pack their food like yours. Pre-portion meals, keep kibble dry, and bring a few extra treats — a good trail day deserves a reward at the fire.
